ABOUT THE KUMASI OAST-HOUSE KITCHEN

Introducing our striking Oast-house kitchen — a bespoke, curved oak kitchen designed for a modern Oast-house new build in Kent. When our clients came to us, they had exhausted all standard kitchen suppliers — no one was willing or able to fulfil their vision. From our very first conversation, we knew we could bring their dream to life. The result is one of our all-time favourite kitchens: a seamless, curved, handcrafted space that embraces the unusual architecture of the house.

This kitchen isn’t about off-the-shelf modules. Instead, every cabinet, every door, every work surface has been custom-shaped to follow the unique curvature of the interior walls — a testament to the power of true bespoke design. The build demonstrates what makes a custom kitchen special: flexibility, craftsmanship, and a willingness to take on challenging briefs.

Featured in the May 2020 edition of Grand Designs UK Magazine, this project reflects both aesthetic ambition and technical sophistication.

WHY THE OAST-HOUSE KITCHEN EXEMPLIFIES BESPOKE DESIGN AND QUALITY

The Oast-house kitchen stands as a prime example of what bespoke kitchens can achieve — especially when given an architectural challenge. By shaping cabinetry to fit curved walls, choosing quality oak, and building everything by hand, we created a kitchen that isn’t just a room — it’s an extension of the house’s character. It proves that custom-made kitchen design can deliver solutions beyond the reach of standard manufacturers, combining craftsmanship, tailoring, and longevity in one beautiful package.
