We were approached to design and handcraft a truly unique bookcase that merges personality, artistry and storage. The brief was playful — to create an asymmetric bespoke bookcase in a lively pink tone, one that becomes a striking canvas for a client’s collection of beautiful objects, while serving a practical storage purpose.
Positioned to act as the space’s focal point, this piece reimagines the idea of fitted furniture. Its bold asymmetric shelves build visual tension and interest; every angle offers a different reveal. The hand-painted pink exterior brings warmth and joy, elevating even the most everyday items displayed within.
Inside, the bookcase is intelligently organised with birch plywood internals and MR-MDF panel doors to ensure structure, durability, and craftsmanship. This hand made fitted bookcase blends function and form, transforming storage into artistic expression.
