A FARROW AND BALL STUDIO GREEN KITCHEN

Our kitchen design process:

We were delighted to collaborate with our long time friends at Pfeiffer Design on this gorgeous bespoke mid-century style kitchen.

With slatted oak as the theme throughout the house, we carried this through into the kitchen. The slatted oak was a great accent to work with and it paired really beautifully with the sliding fluted glass kitchen doors on the pantry.

To achieve that sought-after vintage mid-century modern kitchen style we stained the oak in a rich deep tone. This tone paired perfectly with the Farrow and Ball Studio Green kitchen cupboards and crisp light Caesarstone worktops.

This was a lovely spacious kitchen to design for but it did have an awkward space. We turned this into a bespoke walk-in pantry – not only was this practical but it has completely transformed the room. This mid century modern kitchen design is as stylish as it is practical and we’re really pleased with how the project turned out.

KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS

  1. Green is the colour
We love it when a client chooses a strong colour for their painted kitchen cabinets. The ‘Studio Green’ Farrow and Ball kitchen units here look superb.
  2. Optimising space
We added a walk-in pantry with sliding fluted glass kitchen doors and a tall drinks chiller cabinet into an otherwise awkward nook.
  3. A multi-purpose island
The island unit offers plenty of worktop space and storage with the added benefit of a rounded seating area at one end for informal kitchen dining.
