A NEUTRAL BIRCH PLYWOOD KITCHEN

Our kitchen design process:

For this birch ply kitchen project, we were contacted by Stickland Wright Architecture & Interiors (formerly Niche Interior Design), who we have worked with on several other projects. Their clients were keen to have a bespoke kitchen built by Wood Works Brighton.

We worked with both parties to achieve a functional and clean kitchen design. The drawers and cabinets were built with the high standard of care, craftsmanship and attention to detail that our clients have come to expect. However, being a white plywood kitchen, it also suited our client’s budget.

This airy space benefits from skylights and expansive bifold doors. To enhance the light feeling, we created a stylish scheme of birch ply kitchen cabinets and a milky Formica kitchen worktop.

The main material used was a birch ply which was given a protective coat of Osmo satin white stain. The lower cabinet doors and worktops were laminated with Formica which is an incredibly durable product.

Seeking a minimal look, our clients were particularly pleased with the cut-out handles which add to the simplicity of this timeless white plywood kitchen.

  2. Tonal harmony
The white Formica worktops and pale birch ply kitchen cabinets are echoed in the colour chosen for the walls.
